Dr Ai Wain Yong

Specialising in Body Imaging, Head and Neck Radiology

After graduating from the University of Aberdeen Medical School, she completed her specialty radiology training in Edinburgh. She worked as a Consultant Radiologist at NHS Scotland hospitals for a period between 2012 - 2020. She was awarded the European Society of Radiology (ESHNR) subspecialty diploma in Head and Neck imaging in 2019.

She was a Scottish panel member for the Royal College of Radiologists FRCR Part A Examination in Clinical Radiology (2015 -2019), held roles as an educational supervisor for Radiology specialty training and honorary clinical lecturer for the Universities of Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh. 

She was appointed as one of the panel advisors for the National Thyroid Cancer Project Board (Imaging Subgroup) in 2019 funded by the Scottish Government in establishing the Scottish Thyroid Cancer Network. She currently serves as one of the reviewers for the Clinical Radiology journal, affiliated with the Royal College of Radiologists.
