Dr Devesh Dixit

Specialising in body imaging, PET-CT.

Devesh trained in radiology within the Auckland training scheme from 1999 to 2004, including a year of Body Imaging consisting of CT and MRI in his fifth year. After working as a consultant radiologist at Middlemore Hospital, he moved to New York in 2005 where he undertook Fellowships in Oncologic Imaging at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre. His fellowships consisted of Body Imaging (CT, MRI and Ultrasound), Mammography and Breast MRI, and Nuclear Medicine, including PET-CT. On returning to New Zealand, he was appointed Consultant Radiologist at Middlemore Hospital, a position he has held since mid-2007. Devesh is the Clinical Lead for the CT Department at Middlemore Hospital and joined Allevia Radiology in August 2010.
