Dr Pandya is one of the most experienced head and neck radiologists in New Zealand. He obtained specialist fellowship training in radiology in the UK. Following completion of radiology training in 2005, he worked as a consultant radiologist in one of the largest tertiary referral centres for head and neck cancer in the UK, based in Birmingham. In 2008, Dr Pandya decided to move to New Zealand with his family and worked at Waikato Hospital, before settling on the North Shore. Dr Pandya has a strong interest in continual learning and currently serves as one of the subspecialty Head and Neck reviewers for the British Journal of Radiology. He was also appointed as one of the specialist radiology advisors for NZ National Thyroid Cancer Tumour Standards Working Group in 2013. Working part-time at North Shore Hospital, his professional interests include all aspects of head and neck imaging (MRI, CT, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound), PET-CT/Nuclear Medicine and Cancer Imaging.
