Vocational Scope: General Surgery

Magda is a specialist breast and endocrine surgeon. After graduating from Auckland University Medical School and training in general surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, she gained further subspecialist training in Australia and England.

She is part of the busy South Auckland Breast Cancer Clinic and has a clinical role in BreastScreen Aotearoa. In private practice, and as a CMH consultant surgeon, she has a wide experience with a range of breast disease and is committed to quality cancer care in particular.

Magda’s other interests include thyroid surgery and the education of future surgeons. Together with husband Kevin, she has two children.
