Allevia Radiology has pioneered important radiology advancements in New Zealand over the past 40 years. Our nuclear medicine capabilities have been expanded recently through delivery of New Zealand’s first radioligand therapy services.

Inception

After setting up Allevia at our original location on Remuera Road, we had many notable moments over the following 40 years that made our business what it is today. Check out our timeline below for key Allevia moments!

1988

We opened an X-ray room in the Auckland Surgical Centre in St Marks and a facility on Sunset Road.

We achieved “Telarc” which is now known as “IANZ” accreditation - the third business to do so in New Zealand.

1997

We closed the St Marks clinic, and Highland Park was relocated to the new Botany Downs Super Clinic.
