How to refer your patients

Referring to Allevia Radiology is straightforward and hassle-free. We accept referrals from all New Zealand registered Medical Practitioners, Specialists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Midwives, Podiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, and Allied Health professionals.

You can email a copy of any referral form. We accept all referrals, including those that are non-branded or on non-Allevia Radiology referral forms.

Patients can request a booking via our online tool

Patients can request a booking online. They will need to upload a copy of their referral form. Once we receive the referral, our friendly staff will contact your patient to schedule their scan or procedure at a time that suits.

For an urgent appointment, or any urgent queries regarding your referrals or patients, please call Customer Care on 0800 497 297 (option 1).

Register as a new referrer

Joining Allevia Radiology as a new referrer is easy. Our dedicated team will personally guide you through the process, ensuring you have everything you need to seamlessly refer patients and access images and reports.

Simply fill out the form below, and one of our staff members will be in touch within one business day. We will provide all the essentials including site details, branch services, referral forms, and PACS setup for viewing images and reports. Plus, as a new referrer, you will also receive a special welcome pack with some useful items and goodies to get you started.

With this one account you can access imaging and reports from all our affiliated companies: Allevia Radiology (Auckland), MSK Radiology (Auckland), North MRI (Auckland), Affinity Medical Imaging (Wellington), and Reform Radiology (Christchurch).

Please note that due to the Privacy Act 2020 and the Health Information Privacy Code 2020 we no longer send reports via fax.
